Hands-On Materials and Personalized Support Make All The Difference: Parent Testimonial

The 2025–2026 school year was our first year with this program, and overall we had a very positive experience. While we have homeschooled before, this was our first experience with an online private school that had structured classes and firm assignment deadlines. That was a significant adjustment for both my daughter and me since our previous homeschool experience was entirely self-paced.

As the school year progressed, we also realized that my daughter needed educational supports that we had not previously identified. Because we had always homeschooled independently, we weren’t aware that she would benefit from accommodations similar to an IEP. 

Even though this is a private school and does not have a formal IEP process, the staff was understanding, compassionate, and willing to work with us while we learned what she needed. They were flexible with deadlines when appropriate and took her individual learning needs into consideration, which made a tremendous difference during a challenging transition.

One of the things I appreciated most about the program was the learning kit and hands-on materials. Having physical resources in addition to the online curriculum helped keep my daughter engaged and gave her opportunities to learn in ways that worked best for her. It was nice to have more than just screen-based instruction.

If I could suggest one area for growth, it would be expanding clubs, extracurricular activities, and social opportunities for students. I know this was something the school was already working toward during its first year, and I understand that building those programs takes time. I look forward to seeing those opportunities continue to grow.

Overall, we are very happy with our experience and have chosen to return for another school year. We appreciate the support, flexibility, and genuine care the staff showed our family as we navigated new challenges. We learned a great deal this year, and we are excited to continue with the program and see how both our daughter and the school continue to grow together.
